The first talk of "The SACAA Talk" series was given by Mr. A. Ramachandran, Human Resources & Management from Bangalore on 30th of August 2000 at 6 p.m. in the Gelge hall. The talk was attended by more than 250 and the hall was packed by enthusiastic audience of executive, businessmen, professionals, teachers, students and house wives.

Mr. Ramachandran explained that effectiveness of "Time Management" is not Mbout stuffing more work in time. It is about doing the right thing, the things that need to be done.

The SACAA talks are a series of programmes devised to help common citizens become more effective people. the talks wer launched by the Fr. Ralph da Costa, s.j., the Rector of St Aloysius College.

Mr. Ramachandran stressed the 'eed for priorotizing' in organzing one's activities. Life prioritizing he explained, was "doing what is important and finding time for it".
The speaker felt that a week is the most natural unit of time management plan. A Saturday evening was the best time to write what you want to achieve the next week.

The St Aloysius College alumni/ae Association ( SACAA), which has a memebrship of over 2000 ex-students organized the programme. SACAA president Mr. Edwin JF D'Souza welcomed the speaker and the audience.

The next SACAA talk is scheduled for 24th October. Mr. Narendra Nayak will be speaking on the CONSUMER RIGHTS
