St Aloysius Institute of Management & Information Technology( AIMIT, formerly known as AIBA) , St Aloysius College ( AUTONOMOUS), is offering the two years MBA programme affiliated to Mangalore University and approved by AICTE, Delhi. St Aloysius College has been running the PGDBA programme affiliated to Mangalore University since 1980, and has trained over a thousand entrepreneurs. The College has also been offering the MBA and MCA programme under the OPEN University scheme. IGNOU has a study Centre which was started back in 1987. In 2004 St Aloysius College launched
the full pledged MBA programme affiliated to Mangalore University with HR,
Finance, Marketing and Systems as the elective subjects in the second year. Since two years the MBA programme has come under the AUTONOMOUS Scheme of St Aloysius College with updated syllabus. From next year the College intends to offer two more elective subjects, BANKING and INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS with choice-based-credit system. Keeping
